Feels like you have to do something quite special (whatever you have to do to access the corrupting altar) to get this nice new powerful setup. I would actually like this method of achieving a max skill gem much more than previously. So the only way to get a vaal 21/20 or 20/23 is to start by getting the base skill 20/20 then corrupting with an orb THEN altar, and praying it doesn't brick TWICE?
I like the thought of the corruption altar working with gems.
